Serologiczne markery wirusowego zapalenia wątroby typu B
[Serological markers of hepatitis B virus]

STRESZCZENIE

Celem pracy była analiza danych dotyczących najczęściej oznaczanych w Wojewódzkiej Stacji Sanitarno-Epidemiologicznej w Bydgoszczy markerów wirusowego zapalenia wątroby typu B u pacjentów szpitalnych i osób niehospitalizowanych. Oceniono częstość występowania dodatnich markerów (HBsAg, przeciwciał anty-HBc, przeciwciał anty-HBs) wirusowego zapalenia wątroby typu B. Przeciwciała anty-HBc wykryto u dwóch z dziesięciu badanych chorych (20,0%). U trzech spośród 291 (1,0%) osób stwierdzono obecność antygenu HBsAg. Ochronny poziom przeciwciał anty-HBs wykazano u 71 (84,5%) osób spośród 84 badanych.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: HBV diagnosis is accomplished by testing for a series of serological markers: HBsAg, anti-HBc, anti-HBs, HBeAg, anti-HBe. The aim of the study was to collect the data on serological detection of markers of Hepatitis B Virus hospitalized patients and not hospitalized persons. The study assessed the incidence of HBV markers (HBsAg, anti-HBc, anti-HBs).

Material and method: A blood serum samples for diagnosis of HBV markers (385 screening tests) by enzyme-linked immunoassay test (VIDAS tests) were used in the study. 291 serum samples were tested for the presence of HBsAg, 10 serum samples were tested for the anti presence of anti-HBc and 84 serum samples were tested for the presence of anti-HBs.

Results: Three (1.0%) blood samples were found to be positive for HBsAg, two (20.0%) to be positive for anti-HBc. Anti-HBc was not detected among three HBsAg positive specimens. Serum anti-HBs titers > 10 mUI/ml was considered positive. In the present study 71 (84.5%) anti-HBs positive serum samples were detected.  

Conclusions: In Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Bydgoszcz the most commonly identified marker of Hepatitis B Virus in hospitalized patients and not hospitalized persons is HBsAg.
